AGRISEP
AGRISEP is an electronic stone and clod separator with unique properties. AGRISEP is used for separating clods and stones from potatoes, onions, and other root vegetables. The development of AGRISEP is a combination of proven technology and modern computer vision. AGRISEP operates using infrared technology, which provides a consistent, high separation percentage even in fields with varying conditions. Stones, clods, bones, metal, wood, and other dead material of various sizes are treated equally, making AGRISEP superior to most mechanical systems. AGRISEP can be mounted on a harvester or work stationary in an indoor facility.
Detection occurs using an infrared method where different wavelength ranges are compared, known as signature analysis. AGRISEP detects each object at many points, and the built-in computer makes decisions based on several measurement points on each object. This ensures reliable separation even when dirty. The weighing of the measurement points can also be adjusted with a switch on the control box to suit the current conditions. Detection occurs in free fall (20 cm), which increases sensitivity and ensures reliable separation. The product is captured by rubber-coated plastic fingers, providing gentle handling.
